The Air Force Form 1261 is the final acceptance document that is signed at the completion of a project.  In July of 2007 the 216th deployed a team to the 162nd Fighter Wing in Tucson Arizona to complete the final project before re-missioning.  This project installed category-6 cable in 15 buildings and involved multiple EI units.  Teams from each unit were assigned different buildings as separate projects.  The 216th deployed to complete the Civil Engineering building.  The goal of every EI team that deploys is to come home with a signed 1261 with no exceptions.  This 216th team finished the project on time and with no exceptions on the 1261.
